I had a dental appointment this morning and I discussed with the dentist about Leah’s cleft palate. He was a little concerned that a plastic surgeon was handling her case instead of an oral surgeon. He felt the oral surgeon would have a more thorough knowledge of the muscle and bone structure and more qualified to repair the cleft.
Follow-up appointment with orthopedic surgeon.
